My MAME control panel.

I found MAME when a friend gave me a CD that he had burned from another friend.  I don't know who put together that MAME distribution, but there was enough room left on the CD to put just about every album Metallica ever made and it even had some Smash Mouth tunes.  The mp3's were OK to listen to, but boy did I have fun playing Pacman.  This arcade game had to be my all time favorite as a kid.  I'd didn't care how much money Namco was making off their little pill eater.

Soon I found that I needed to play more and more of those classic games I remembered as a youth.  So after playing all 20 ROMs that came with my friends distribution I went in search of more.  I couldn't believe all the cool MAME related sites out on the internet.  At last I found all the ROMs I could imagine on www.mame.dk.  But, I found that waiting for the downloads to much to bare.  I then contacted a MAME burner named mame@sgi.net about obtaining the latest and greatest MAME CD distribution.
